Top Sandbox Games on Android in Germany: Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the sandbox game category on Android in Germany saw varied performance among the top five apps. Here's a closer look at their trends based on Sensor Tower data.

Roblox, published by Roblox Corporation, showed a gradual decline in weekly revenue, starting at around $550K and dropping to approximately $273K by the end of March. Downloads also decreased from 45.8K to 26.1K, while active users fell from 2.3M to 1.8M.

Minecraft Trial, by Mojang, maintained download numbers around 15K weekly, with a slight dip mid-quarter. Active users started at 81K, fluctuating slightly before settling at 62K by the quarter’s end.

Block Craft 3D: Building Game, from Wildlife Studios, experienced a peak in downloads at 16.6K in mid-January, dropping to 7.8K by March. Revenue was modest, with a slight increase to $568 in mid-February. Active users decreased from 78K to 47K.

Town Building Life Simulator by XGame Global saw downloads fall from 9.5K to 4K, while active users varied, peaking at 35.9K in January and ending at 26.1K. Revenue remained low, with occasional small peaks.
